Actor Chris Hemsworth, renowned for portraying the superhero Thor in Marvel's "Thor" franchise, also embraces a different superhero role in his personal life as a devoted father to his three children. Hemsworth, who tied the knot with Elsa Pataky in 2010, shares his eldest child, India, as well as twins Tristan and Sasha, with his wife.

Despite his fame, Hemsworth prioritizes spending ample time with his kids. During a June 6 interview with GQ, he disclosed that he had been taking a break from the spotlight in recent months to fully cherish every precious moment with his little ones. Occasionally, though, he yearns for quality time alone with his wife. "There are nights where I'm just like, 'Just go to sleep,'" he shared. "Or all three of them want to sleep in the bed, and we're like, 'We just want a night alone.'" Nonetheless, Hemsworth recognizes that his children's childhoods are passing by swiftly. "They're not jumping on you, cuddling you, kissing you and all that in the same way," he expressed. "That for me is a real slap into the moment just to soak it up."

Hemsworth and Pataky are also committed to instilling humility, hard work, and gratitude in their children. In a 2018 interview with GQ Australia, Hemsworth discussed their desire to cultivate appreciation and respect for the things they have. He stated, "I don't want them to feel like they're privileged in any way. The fact that we have money and their parents are famous, that somehow they're special, that scares me because we grew up with no money."

In July 2021, Hemsworth posted a video of India skateboarding in a hilly park, and in April, Pataky shared a bunch of photos of India and herself taking part in a riding competition. "She is going to be much better than me in a blink! So much fun to share all this moments with you Indi!" Pataky wrote in the caption.

Outside of the typical fun activities she does with her folks, India also helps to make the world more environmentally friendly. "When my daughter picks up a bit of plastic on the beach, she's like, 'Yeah, that kills animals. Doesn't it, Dad?'" Hemsworth told GQ Australia in 2018. "This generation is where we're gonna see real change and that's exciting."

Hemsworth and Pataky joyfully welcomed their twins, Tristan and Sasha, on March 18, 2014. Pataky took to Instagram to share the wonderful news, posting a photo of their tiny feet accompanied by a caption that exclaimed (translated from Spanish), "¡Ya están en casa! ¡Tristan y Sasha llegaron a este mundo el 18 de marzo, justo después de la luna llena. ¡Felicidad completa!"

Although Tristan and Sasha are still young, they have already developed distinct and contrasting personalities. During an interview with GQ Australia, Hemsworth revealed, "Tristan is so athletic, but he doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. He's the most emotional one. Whereas Sasha is like a little gangster."

The twin boys enthusiastically embrace outdoor activities, engaging in motocross biking and skateboarding, as frequently showcased on Hemsworth's Instagram. In addition to their typical childhood hobbies, Tristan and Sasha also exhibit admiration for their superhero father's portrayal of Thor. On their ninth birthday, March 19, 2023, the actor paid a heartfelt tribute to his boys on Instagram, writing, "Happy 9th birthday to my two little men! There's only one way to eat cake in this house, and that's to have Mum slam it onto your face first!! 'Hey Mum, I don't like chocolate cake, I prefer vanilla.' 'Oh, really, son? What about now'?"
