On June 18, the Titan submersible operated by OceanGate, which was exploring the wreckage of the Titanic in the Atlantic Ocean, lost contact with its surface support ship. Tragically, the company later confirmed that all five individuals on board were presumed to have perished due to a "catastrophic implosion" of the sub.
The exact identity of the person who extended the invitation to MrBeast remains unclear. Alongside his tweet, MrBeast shared a snippet of a text message he purportedly sent to someone, stating, "I'm going to the Titanic in a submarine late this month. The team would be stoked to have you along."
